The next regular meeting of the Russell County Bird Club will be Tuesday,
October 22. As usual, we'll meet in one of the Community Rooms near the
Lebanon Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. This is the meeting where officers are
elected for the coming year. Be prepared to nominate and elect someone for
the offices of President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. In the
words of William Tecumseh Sherman, " If nominated, I will not run; if
elected, I will not serve." Peggy Herbert has also expressed a desire to
end her tenure as Secretary/Treasurer.
Peggy and Fred will present the program on How to Make Your Own Bird Food.
Make plans to join us at the El Campesino in the Walmart Shopping Center for
Dutch treat supper prior to the meeting. Those who are interested can meet
there at about 6:30 to visit and eat.
The meeting and meal are open to anyone who's interested in coming. You
don't have to be a club member to participate.
