Here is a shot of my Red_bellied Woodpecker showing how they got their name. The Rose-breasted Grosbeaks have finally made it to my house, saw my first one this morning. Got to see the Great Blue Heron down on Slate Creek again today, this time he was just above the Bend of Slate, Yesterday he was right below the health department. The Redstarts were back at the Lilac bushes and the azaleas, feeding on the insects that were coming in to the blooms on them at the house we have down there Chuck Stiltner Airport Rd. Vansant, Va.
