[bcbirdclub] Red-tailed Hawk

I was out working in the back yard when I heard Blue Jays squawking. I
looked up and saw 3 Jays chasing a Red-tailed Hawk which was carrying a
Black Snake about 2 1/2 feet long. The Red-tailed landed in a locust tree
where it perched for about a minute. The Jays continued the harassment and
the hawk took off flying up the hollow still clutching its snake.
