[bcbirdclub] Sheldon Woods having surgery today

Hi All,
I talked to Sheldon and his wife, Orpha, this morning by phone in Sheldon's
hospital room at the UVA hospital in Charlottesville. Sheldon sounds much
stronger than he has recently. He was up and moving about. He has surgery
scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to insert a feeding tube into his small instestine to
bypass his pancreas and allow it to heal.
I will be talking to Orpha later this evening to see how the procedure went,
and I will let everyone know how he is doing.
