On Tuesday evening as the rainstorm was ending the sun broke through a narrow strip of sky between the clouds and the mountain tops. It produced a double rainbow and a brilliant sunset that sent people all over the area racing for cameras, me included. This is what it looked like here on the mountain. For any of you photography buffs, on the house shot I used a speed of 1/250 of a second at f/3.5 at ISO 1600. I then used fill flash to illuminate the house, plants and fence in the foreground. On the rainbow shot I used 1/500 of a second at f/3.5 at ISO 1250 with no flash. Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
