Hey everyone,
Sorry for the long delay, but here is the link to the mapping software that I
mentioned at the Christmas dinner. It is Windows Live Earth Maps. It's worth
looking at. Personally, I think it has Google Earth beat hands down. It is
pretty slow with dial up, especially the 3D version. Here at college though, we
have high speed, so it works really well. The detail that it shows is pretty
amazing. If you look hard enough you may be able to find where you live. I
found my house after a little searching. You can add pushpins to particular
places to serve as waypoints. I use it mainly for hunting. I'm sure that it can
be beneficial in birding as well. I hope everyone enjoys it!
