Maurice made some excellent points for readers to consider.

In fact, Capitalism, not democracy, is the System that has enabled the
Ruling Class to maintain continuous control
Forgive me for wandering away, but I wonder just who are the Great
Names among our Ruling Class. And do their contributions to the
American People outweigh their negative contributions?
How many times must we learn the same lesson over and over again,
rewarding our Capitalists with untold riches, and then much later we
are the ones who clean up the messes left behind.
No, Capitalism is no friend of democracy, and not even, as reported,
the best System among all the flawed Systems. Unless, of course, you
happen to be among the privileged minority. And of course that is the
issue we need to wrestle with. How do we develop a better, more
inclusive System? Currently we turn to our sources of wisdom, only to
find that they are either among the Ruling Class, or owned by it.
The article by Maurice is the sort of open invitation for discussion
that we need. It's past time that we disregard the Rules and
Constraints put on us by the Ruling Class. Some would call it,
"Thinking outside of the box", but in truth, it is Thinking outside of
the artificial prison.
