Thanks for the resources. I wasn't sure if the junk about Hedges was true
but it does seem like he at least came very close to the line where he could
have simply attributed some of his writing to folks like Hemingway. I still
believe most if not all of what he has to say politically and will forgive
him if he has indeed plagiarized. I will continue to read his writings with
interest. WE all have warts and most of us have bigger ones. I guess I'm
just not as proud to toot his horn as I once was.

I don't believe that Chris Hedges is a plagerist. I do believe that a lot of
people are out to get him. Wikipedia is, remember, a composit of individual
opinions and don't forget what Google and Facebook and other Big tech
companies are doing these days. They are carrying water for the NSA. You
need to listen to the right podcasts and also, check The Real News Network
online as well as getting their podcasts in order to find approximate truth.

I'll look forward to that episode of Democracy Now which I'll get to later
today on podcast. Seems there are fewer and fewer sources who are truly
honest brokers. We could say that Chris Hedges is pretty close, but it seems
he's a plagiarist, See Wikipedia for more details on that one. Apparently,
he's done it repeatedly and won't admit to it.

For a change, Democracy Now had a really informative program today, all
about how the US has attempted to,and succeeded in interfering with the
elections of other countries. Stephen Kinzer was the guest, a historian
whose written several books on the subject and who like many others, was,
but is no longer, a New York Times reporter.
But as was pointed out on the Unauthorized Disclosure Podcast today,
Democracy Now has become, in most cases, the new MSNBC. And that comment was
not meant as a compliment.
