The latest episode of the Pushback podcast is an interview with Max,
describing his arrest, particularly what the experience was like for him and
the realization of what happens to his poor black neighbors in southeastern
Washington, DC on a regular basis. He says that knowing about it
intellectually, is very different from meeting real people and hearing their
experiences. If you don't get Pushback on your stream, all of the episodes
are on the Grayzone Project website. The fact is that not only have the
mainstream media ignored the arrest of this journalist, but also, many
alternative media journalists have applauded the arrest because they
disagree with Blumenthal's reporting. Kenneth Gestola on the Unauthorized
Disclosure podcast said today, that there's a line from whistle blowers to
Julian Assenge to max Blumenthal, that will continue straight on to
journalists in the mass media, to The New York Times, and if people don't
stand up for people whom they don't like, like Assenge and Blumenthal,
they're making a terrible mistake. Reporters Without Borders and other press
freedom organizations, haven't said a word.
