On Unauthorized Disclosure today, Blumenthal tells a little tidbit.
During the time when Code Pink and other anti-war people were attempting to
protect the Venezuelan embassy from the US backed sham Venezuelan government
officials, the Secret Service was protecting the right wing Venezuelan
protestors and attacking anyone who was supporting the embassy protectors.
When there was a shift change, the officer in charge of the secret service
told the new people that the right wing Venezuelan protestors were
Venezuelan government representatives who are part of the US government and
the people in the embassy are Russian assets.
