The book is a presentation by someone with very traditional conservative views
of what a threat Trump is to the Republican party and to the country. It's
upsetting to read because the author sees Reagan as a positive example of what
a president should be, and he compares Trump to Reagan to show Republican
readers how different they are so that they won't vote for Trump in 2020. As a
member of the current administration, he describes all of Trump's instability,
but he also gives examples from previous years. I wondered why he was willing
to work in the administration if he already knew about his dishonesty and
craziness. It's weird to read about Trump and what has been going on from a
point of view so opposite to mine.

is clearly a conservative Republican, a member of the White House
staff, and the book is written to try to explain to Trump voters why
Trump must not be re-elected. It describes, in detail, Trump's
craziness. It's the piece that my friends on Loud and Clear and all
the other way left podcasts and websites, tend to ignore. The point is
that regardless of how flawed the US is structurally, how rotten our
government policies are, how responsible the Dems are for our being
where we are, Trump's insanity and incompetence can't be understated,
and his functioning adds to the horror and injustice that already exists.
