Good evening William,
Thank you for providing this clarification and reminder, which ties with the
position put forward by Karen Finch, as Community Council Liaison Officer.
I understand that Community Councils are not listed as 'Statutory Consultees'
for Street Trader Licences, however I do not believe this prevents us from
commenting on such applications, when they take place within the community area.
As you have described, we are indeed Statutory Consultees on Licensing and
Planning Applications, however I do not believe that these are the only types
of applications that we are 'allowed' to comment upon.
Indeed, any stakeholder including Public Agencies, Stakeholders or Members of
the Community have the ability to comment on any public application.
Myself as Chair and Pauline as Secretary made sure that these applications were
within the public domain before commenting.
This hopefully provides more information and clarification for you, and if
needed we can discuss further at Wednesday's Monthly Meeting.
Sincerely,
Jonathan

Please note: There is no inclusion of 'Application Reference Numbers' as this

obtained due to the support of Elected Members and investigation of Community
Council Members.
If this is required information, if Local Authority Officers are able to
provide the Application Reference Number, we would be glad to include this in
time for Tuesday or Wednesday Response Date.
