Subject: Follow Up from Last Nights Community Council Forum Meeting
Hi,
There were a few things from last night that I needed to follow up on.
Planning Aid Scotland Event - Saturday 14 January 2017 at the Beach Ballroom.
9.30am for registration for a 10am start. Finishes by 4pm. Lunch and
refreshments will be provided.
There will be 1 place per Community Council with a reserve list in operation.
Please let me know who from your Community Council will be attending and the
names of any others to be added to the reserve list.
Licensing Workshop - Wednesday 7 December at 7pm in the Town House.
There will be 1 place per Community Council with a reserve list in operation.
Please let me know if you haven't already, who from your Community Council will
be attending and the names of any others to be added to the reserve list.
Community Council Forum Boundaries Sub Group.
This group was established some time ago and work was undertaken to develop an
action plan and to look at the maps for each of the Community Councils areas.
There has been a delay in getting additional maps printed that showed the CC
boundaries against the current electoral ward boundaries (Councillor wards) in
the City. I now have those maps and want to re-establish the Sub Group.
The original membership will have changed following the elections in October
2015. The current members of the group are: Peter Roberts, Ken Hutcheon, David
Wakefield, Jonathan Smith, Leonora Montgomery and David Fryer.
It would be useful to have additional people on this group to assist with
moving forward with the action plan and to get proposals together for any
amendments to the natural boundaries for Community Councils. Please let me
know if anyone from your Community Council would be interested in joining the
group and also for those listed, let me know if this is still something you
want to be part of.
