Alan,
If you are an ARRL member, it is trivially easy to become a VE. You review
some materials on the ARRL web site, print out about 3 pages, take an open book
test, fill out the registration form, and send it in. That's what I am doing.

Hi Cathy,
Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I have been up to my ears in work the
past week or so. I am not a VE, but I would be willing to
become one if that is possible. I took my Extra exam in
1967, so I would enjoy seeing what the new material looks
like for my own education. I will look to see what it takes to become a VE.
