Hello all,
The Cabot Repeater is back on the air and is linked into our repeater
system. The old crystallized GE Mastr II has been replaced with a fully
programmable Motorola MSF5000. The repeater is putting out about 25 Watts
(maximum for this model power amplifier) which may cause some scratchiness
on receive, we hope to locate a high power PA soon.
The receiver seems very “hot”, and opens at a -124dBm. Give it a try if
you’re up north. 146.82 with a negative offset and 100hz PL tone.
