One reason for tents is that the shelter has no protection from black flies and mosquitoes. The tents have screens.

Field Day is fast approaching! Sorry for the typos as I am writing on my
phone. I am looking for volunteers to take care of some things:
1.  Deploy the signage on Saturday (I have the signage just need someone
to take it)
2.  Someone to write a flyer for advertising our event.
3.  Volunteers to post info on Front porch forum in each town. (need one
person per town)
4. Anyone into photography that would like to help document the event for
the future?
5. Someone to get Field Day info from ARRL to handout. ( I think it's free)
6. Food?  Who would like to bring what?
7. Anyone have a cabin style tent?  I have one for one of the two HF
stations but looking for another
8. Someone to help me transport tower and antenna gear on Friday night.
(everything brakes down to 8 foot sections)
9. Volunteers to help set up and take down.  I will be at the site from
5pm on Friday until everything is gone on Sunday
What we have so far....
We will be running a 2A:
Station 1 will be a Yaesu FT 2000
Station 2 will be a Yaesu FT 1000
GOTA will be a Kenwood TS 570
VHF Station a Icom 706
MFJ Auto Tuner
VHF talk in Radio
Headphones
Lots of Coax
6 Meter beam
2 meter beam
Back up Generator
extension cords
Tennis Ball Launcher
Compound bow with line

We have all the logging software and networking, all set.
We have two 24 foot towers 1 for 6 meters and 2 meters and one for HF
We have cabin tent for one HF station
If anyone has any more thoughts or concerns please speak now so we can
plan ahead.
