I've been keeping an eye on the Bouvet expedition for some time. They should
be on the air soon.
I am not sure how good propagation will be, but I'll certainly make an effort
to work them on at least one band & mode. That may be a 1 kw-on-20-meters SSB
or more likely a digital operation at some moderate power level. CW would be
great but I doubt I'll be able to get through the pileups at my slow speed.
We'll need a few days for the big guns to work them and then have things slow
down for us normal stations. :-)

Nice going Cathy. They've
been quite good for some weeks, but yes, LOTS of QSB for
sure. I managed to work the new entity Kosovo on 160-80 and
40 over the past few days, and the somewhat rare ZC4 on 160
and 40. But the big excitement is the upcoming Bouvet
operation. That one is super rare and this is the time to
work them on any band. Unlikely there will be any future
operation from Bouvet for many years to come. Good luck in
the pile-ups.
