Deafblind Action Information Officer - New Position
This exciting one day a month (2 hours per week) position has become available 
at Able Australia. The position involves collecting and sending out information 
about 
1. Opportunities to go to meetings, forums, and join boards and committees to 
raise awareness about the needs of people with deafblindness
2. Examples of people with deafblindness around Australia going to meetings and 
what they do to raise awareness about the needs of people with deafblindness. 
This information is to support the deafblind community to learn how to raise 
awareness and to improve the services. 
This position is for a person with deafblindness who knows about issues facing 
people with deafblindness. They must know about adaptive technology and 
alternative formats to make sure they get the information out to as many people 
as possible.
