Invitation: Innovation for Resilient Community Organisations
Foresters invite you to join with other community organizations in discussing
how you can acquire and develop community assets to support growth and
strengthen your mission.
This workshop will also focus on the opportunities to develop accommodation for
people with a disability, as presented by Queensland Government's Elderly
Parent Carer Innovation Trial.
When: 30 April 2014 from 9.30am to 12.30pm
Where: Highfields Cultural Centre, O'Brien Rd Highfields 4352
Cost: Free
This workshop is targeted for management of community organisations. (CEOs,
CFOs, Business Managers, Finance Managers and Program Managers of community
organisations.)
The workshop is an interactive and educational workshop designed to inform
discussion on:
· Defining community assets
· Investing in, and growing community assets
· Developing new income streams
· Expanding on mission through enterprise, and the role of community
finance in assisting organisations to strengthen and grow
· Disability housing projects
