Hello Everyone,
As many of our sainted school teachers prepare for holidays and a welcome
escape from the mountains of emails they receive each day, I thought it timely
to give some advance notice of our next meeting.
The Australian Braille Authority Queensland Regional Forum will be meeting at
Easts Leagues Club, 40 Main Avenue, Coorparoo, at 4 pm on Thursday 17 July.
This is a new meeting venue for us but I have been assured of good food and a
very comfortable setting.
If you wish to catch public transport, this is certainly an option. Please
contact Translink for further information.
Should you require any other support, please don’t hesitate to contact me so
that we can make the best arrangements possible for you.
People attending the meeting will need to have a reciprocal membership to
another club or be prepared to pay the $2 joining fee to become a member of
Easts. This entitles you to a discount on your food and drinks so it doesn’t
seem like too much of a hardship for a nice venue.

insure that we have an appropriate agenda for you in a format of your choosing.
We look forward to seeing anyone who is passionate about Braille at this
meeting.
