WA - Access Tour & Audio Description - Fremantle Festival Parade - Free Event -
Sunday 1st November 2015 Hi everyone This is a free event. As this is the first
time ever that a parade will be Audio Described in WA, we are encouraging
people who are blind or vision impaired and your family and friends to sign up
and experience this  decades-old parade. Fremantle Festival is Australia’s
longest running festival. This year, the decades- old parade will make its way
from Essex Street through High Street Mall to Kings Square, where a dance party
in the Town Hall will close the festivities.

Access Tour 2.30pm to 3.30pm
Audio Description4.00pm to 4.30pm
Meeting Time 2.15pm
Meeting PlaceOn the grassed area next to the free Blue CAT bus Stop 16
(Esplanade Hotel), near the T-junction of Essex Street and Marine Terrace,
Fremantle.
For the Access Tour, you will be encouraged to use your senses to feel the
textures of the decorations, explore the designs, colour and shapes and even
smell elements of the floats. 
After the Access Tour, you will then be guided to a viewing area where you will
be able to experience the Parade whilst listening to the Audio Description of
the floats as they pass by.
Bookings are essential. Limited places available. Your will receive a
