Hume Women's Leadership Course
9.30am-2.30pm Mondays 18 August - 29 September (7 weeks)

Interested in gaining skills to be a leader within your cultural or wider 
community?
Possess at least Level 3 competence in written and spoken English?

VIRWC is running a Women's Leadership Course in the Hume region and it involves:
  a.. Exploring introductory concepts - Society, Culture and Identity 
  b.. A strong focus on community leadership 
  c.. Exploring and understanding that women's rights are human rights 
  d.. A strong emphasis on assesrtiveness, power and self-awareness 
  e.. An introduction to the processes involved in advocacy and lobbying 
  f.. An introduction to preparation and techniques for public speaking 
  g.. An opportunity to learn from and network with strong-minded women
