I am an olah teacher who is doing coursework in order to obtain my teudat horaah. For my linguistics class, I am writing a paper and doing a presentation about cross linguistic influence, and in one of the sections I would like to discuss real-life errors (from a linguistic persective) that Hebrew speakers often make when learning English. I am looking for issues from semantic ordering (switching order of noun and adjective) to funny expressions, can be formal or informal. I know that everyone is quite busy, but I am looking for your collective years of classroom experience that I lack. Also, if anyone has compiled such a list or knows of a website, I would be grateful. Please reply to this address or frogel1@xxxxxxx Thanks, Liz
