Hi gang and happy back to school.
Is anybody using "Count that Day Lost?" in a 5 point Lit Program? It seems to
me too simplistic for them. I am supposed to advise a student on analyzing
this poem and I don't know what to do with it.

By the way, for those of you who are implementing the lit program, have you met
any students who, when asked "How did studying thinking skills help you to
understand the poem (better) -- answer in all honesty: They didn't. Any
English speaking third grader could understand this poem as well as I do." Can
I accept answers like this?
