Oh my! How closed minded can a ministry be? This is ridiculous! I won't even try to ask if anything can be done about this. Why in the world should the ministry decide what direction someone's professional development path should take? I wonder if this is something that was decided on by silly bureaucrats or by some sort of inspectorate. I can't believe that anyone in the inspectorate (not necessarily English) who has worked as an educator could possibly decide such a thing. Or am I being naive?
