[etni] Death of a literary giant

Norman Mailer died today at the age of 84. I realised after reading his
obituary that I have read his first book, "The Naked And the Dead" and his
last, "The Castle in the Forest'. Now I'll have to read the ones in between.
Just a thought but why are so many of America's most influential authors of
the 20th Century Jewish? Roth, Mailer, Malamud, Heller, Below.
