Dear Teacher, I'd like your help in bringing your kids to an excellent musical theater experience. We have a fantastic Broadway musical coming up, especially for students learning English. It is *Seussical*, the Dr. Seuss Musical, and it is highly educational and teachable. Seussical is written in easy-to-understand English. It is based mostly on */Horton Hears a Who/*, about the elephant who can save an entire world. Dr. Seuss' most colorful characters come to life, in the hit Broadway musical by the team that wrote Ragtime. A cast of 22 actors and a live band sing and dance through a heart-warming story of loyalty, danger, imagination and a happy ending. In our contemporary world, where kids are increasingly exposed to sometimes harmful messages, Seussical is special. This is a show that oozes important values and life lessons, such as: * The courage to be true to your values * Standing up to bullies * The importance of making a commitment * Doing what's right, even though others may laugh at you * Kindness and caring for those weaker than you * Being happy with the gifts that you have, and not needing to be someone else * Believing in your ability to save, or change, the world In order to help bring Dr. Seuss into the classroom, and make Seussical a total educational experience, I'm putting together a PDF of *classroom lesson ideas*, including pre and post show questions for discussion, some activities and a vocabulary list. Further suggestions are welcome! To arrange a group and for any other inquiries, please reply to this email, or call 077-450-6012.
