Shalom Etniers!

I have almost completely finished another EFL didactic unit integrating Web 2.0
tools. I say "almost" because there is always something to add / change / etc.
Perhaps some of you will contribute, share ideas, etc.

Click on the name to get to it.

Teens behind the Wheel

I wrote "another" because the other one is called The Generation Gap (again,
click on the name) and has been up on the net for a couple of months.

In case the links do not work (that is always a possibility), I will copy and
paste them below.

One idea behind the unit is the same that drives the use of Web 2.0 tools:
sharing.
Many activities / tasks are aimed at  promoting interaction through so called
"high-tech writing devices" (such as a blog and a forum), and other no less
high-tech products (You Tube, Podcasts).

Other tasks / activities are more "traditional" in the way they promote the use
of computer technology (for example, through Power Point Presentaions, online
vocabulary drills.), though they still callfor some kind of interaction /
sharing (in the case of the PPT, kids may have to present their work to the
class).

There are (how could it be otherwise?) activities / tasks that encourage the
use of more traditional  "writing instruments" (see Summer Bagrut Module E 2004
- "World's favorite writing tool refuses to be erased"), that is,  the  pencil
(we favor pens, don't we?).

There is a page aimed at teachers, a Rationale page, a few more pages, and
always room for improvement.

I am glad to share this on ETNI since ETNI teachers have shared much with me.
The same applies for members of ETAI (I have been one for years).

I guess  "Share to grow"  works better than "Compete to grow" when it comes to
education (I just guess: I'm not absolutely sure, since, to mention but one
example, some people tend to keep their stuff only for them, just in case).

Thanks for your time. See the links again below, just in case.
