I was so glad to read teachers' feedback on Jerusalem Etai Conference. I
think teacher's attendance and participation make us more motivated to offer
interesting sessions .
I hope the next Etai conference will be just as successful , In addition, I
hope presenters will give presentations that also address the Arab sector's
needs , for the Arab students are required to do the Israeli Bagrut exams ,yet
they have their own needs and problems which need to be addressed and solved.
Therefore, I encourage teachers to give presentations that will meet he needs
of various populations.
I was particularly intersted in Lily Khoury's prersentation through which she
presented a contrastive analysis beteewn English and Arabic whitch was very
interesting for teachers from various sectors.The lectures given by Larsen ,
Elloit Jude were no less stimulating.
And as always Penny 's lecture was so interesting and practical ,it answered
many questions asked by teachers teaching English as a foreign language, she
offered many practical ideas which are applicable in the Arab and Jewish sector.
I feel very proud of being a board member of such a wonderful association , and
my journey all the way from haifa to Jerusalem was definitely worthwhile!
