[Adele P. Raemer] In fact, I saw quite a few (although certainly not as many
as I would have liked) young teacher trainees at the conference. In fact,
quite a few wanted to participate in the play we put on - however their bus
back was scheduled to leave before the end of the day (which was really
unfortunate- and hope can be rectified in the future.) I wonder if there are
not more teacher training colleges who could have organized participation
for their students. I also felt a glaring lack of teachers from the Arab and
Bedouin sector -of which I saw VERY few!!! I wonder if we can find out why
this is and if there is anything that can be done to rectify THAT in the
future.

Aside from that (and the lack of coffee and parking) I want to join in the
voices singing the praises of the organizers, the organization and the
conference in general. I returned home exhausted yet happy and inspired.
Best of luck to our new chair (may she find it comfortable and easy to work
with/from;)
Adele
