Subject: English teaching hours

The best learning is spread out into as many days as possible. Two two-hour lessons isn't the most effective way of teaching, since it doesn't enable reinforement, and the kids frequently tune out after 60 of the 90 minutes. And that's on a good day. But four days a week is
sometimes a problem. Two, one and one can be used well, but not three days in a row. At least in high school, the double lesson can be used for weekly unseens or divided in ways to keep the kids' attention.
