Hi all,
As some of you have probably noticed, the spammers have discovered the new
Etni Advertisement Board -
http://www.etni.org/phpbb/
I have deleted the spam that appeared there and installed the "Captcha"
system in order to prevent such spam in the future.
You probably have come across the "Captcha" system on other boards and
forums. That is when you have to enter in the characters which appear
randomly before you, before you can submit your entry. It is annoying, but
effective, in preventing automated spam programs from sending spam to the
board.
The "Captcha" check is only for guest users. If you have registered to the
board, you won't be asked to enter in the Captcha characters before
submitting your entry.
Another advantage of registering to the board. And it costs nothing to
register to the board.
