The tziun magen cannot be changed from moed alef to moed bet.
If they want to retake a test next year, the magen can be changed - if the
kid studied the material of the test they are retaking, at least half the
weekly hours that they studied this year, the principal asks the school's
"mifakeach" to approve, and the old magen is 25% (I think, not sure of the
%) of the new magen.
Ask your bagrut coordinator exactly how to do it.
