When the HOTS manual states
"Authentic Text has not been simplified."
does that mean that abridged editions appearing in books like "Way AHead"
and "Well- Read " ( I KNOW the latter is a jr hi book..but it's the only
example \I can think of at the moment ) of " THank You Ma'am" or "The
Chaser" are not acceptable??? jesg
