Am I missing something? If there are schools where nobody is going to teach
literature through HOTS, how are students going to take the 4 and 5 point
bagrut?
And on a different subject, the 3 point bagrut has been with us since the
beginning of the point system, and how important it is. It is something to
aim for, for those students whose English or learning skills are not ever
going to get them further. Should that be a reason why they shouldn't learn
English? It is certainly not the reason for the loweriing of standards that
every teacher has noticed who has been teaching for upwards of 20 years.
