The conference will focus on songs and drama in the EFL classroom. Cost - Free for ETAI members, 25 NIS for non-members The schedule is as follows: 15:30 - 16:00 Registration 16:00 - 16:15 Greetings - Principal Yusuf El Hoashallah , the school English coordinator, Adham Zoabi, conveners 16:20 - 17:15 Session 1 "Elementary Drama" - (dramatic fun in elementary school classes) Carla Nochomovitz "Hootenanny" - (bringing the sound of music/songs into your class) Laurie Ornstein (jr.and sr. high school) 17:15 - 17:45 Break, refreshments and browsing the book and materials exhibit 17:45 - 18:30 Session 2 "Add some drama to your teaching" - (a session on activities in class) Mitzi Geffen (jr.-sr. high school) "English is Fun with Songs and Games" - Kara Aharon (elementary school) Transportation/directions - From Beersheva - The school is located on the Beersheva - Dimona Road (Road 25), about 2 kms. before the Dimona Junction coming from Beersheva. Take a bus to Dimona and get off at El Hoashallah or Kasr -A-Sir as sign-posted. It's a 10 minute walk to the school down the main village road. Or take the bus to Dimona and take a shared taxi from the bus station to the school. The school is at the end of the road on the left. From Mizpe Ramon (and Yeruham) - Road 40 to Tzoment Halukim and then straight on Road 204, passed Yeruham to Dimona Junction. Turn left and drive about 2 kms. to the turn-off to Kasr A-Sir. Follwo the paved road which goes straight and then curves left. See the school at the end of the road on your left.
