I read the latest Irgun posting on the English sanctions and I'm dafka pleased with the update. True-our specific case is not really moving, but what is, anyway? I mean, all the issues related to the improvement of teachers' work conditions are stuck at the moment. Although I guess there is no harm in putting some pressure on the Irgun-I believe that there is not much we or the Irgun can do right now besides just abiding by the sanctions. And as I can see from people posting updates on the literature course, the sanctions are not followed by ALL English teachers. Let's at least begin with fulfilling our own part here. Here's the link to the promised posting on the site. http://www.irgun-hamorim.org.il/index.asp?action=read&atcid1647 Nothing new here. Just more of the same. I strongly suggest we all call the Irgun and demand ACTION!
