when the MOE changed the term from Magen grade to Shnati grade , i really believed a change was coming. As said before, i innocently believed that if a student works hard he deserves those extra laboriously-earned points. The problem is that a whole class / Shichva can get penalized if there are obvious discrepancies between Shnati and Bagrut grades - and that's where the problem lies! We cannot give high grades to weak students who work hard because the principal is worried about those discrepancies! > From: ask@xxxxxxxx > To: etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [etni] Fw: Telling it like it is > Date: Thu, 21 Jan 2010 07:47:28 +0200 > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: sbshai - sbshai@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Telling it like it is > > Hello colleagues, > I would like to propose a new poll on ETNI which asks teachers about their > opinion of the tziun shnati. > > Let's be frank: Isn't this grade rather farcical?
