I just want to say well done to Esther Ravivo for telling it like it is,
from the other side of the barrier - those who have taken the course. She
is usually so enthusiastic about implementing whatever is required of her,
and she is enthusiastic about the HOTS course she is taking now. However,
this has not stopped her from telling it like it is, and I think it is very
brave, because she is opening herself up to all sorts of criticism from the
powers that be.
I would like to correct her on one point, though. The general knowlege of
the pupils in the wealthy centre is not all that great either. My prize
goes to a fellow pupil of my daughter, who, in 11th grade, thought she was
travelling to "Poland, the capital of Germany"!
