clarification ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon Tzur - sharontzu5@xxxxxxx Subject: clarification The wording in the letter of protest I'm drafting might have given the wrong impression. I did not say that teachers are supposed to give ALL students a zero on the project section of the oral bagrut (as one teacher understood). We are being instructed to give a zero to those students who don't have a project (even if their not having a project is due to teacher sanctions). Naturally, there is no problem testing students who did do a project - whether it is because they did the projects before the sanctions, or their teacher is in the Histadrut, or the teacher decided not to carry out the sanctions, or the teacher carried out the sanctions only partially (having students do projects but without guidance / without process writing, or whatever. When we test, that is not our concern. I'll go over the Hebrew version I've prepared to make sure that's clear. Furthermore, I don't have any problem giving a student a zero in cases that his/her not having a project is NOT a result of teacher sanctions.
