You are invited to attend a special meeting for English teachers
in elementary school (grades 1-6) at "Shema" Center, Tel-Aviv.
There will be two speakers:
"Teaching to Style" - Ms. Julie Yosefyan
Three important learning styles of pupils in our heterogeneous
classes will be discussed. We will talk about our own teaching
and learning styles and learn how to teach to style in all stages
of our lessons in order to reach as many of our pupils as possible.
"Read My Lips" - Ms. Naomi Epstein
"Listen, sing, chant and clap your hands with the music" - we
expect our hearing pupils in elementary school to do this, but
what about the hearing impaired pupil who studies in the
regular class? In this session, issues related to integrating a
hearing impaired pupil into the regular elementary classroom
will be discussed.
* There will be coffee and "book browsing" between the lectures.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 24th, 2006 at
"Shema Center", 30 Plitei HaSfar St. (Derech HaShalom 34-36) Tel-Aviv.
We begin promptly at 16:00 and end at 19:00.
