Sorry if I missed something.  I looked on the ETNI site and didn't see any poll 
on the subject of the magen grade, so I don't know how you found that a 
majority of teachers are in favor of doing away with it.  From what I've read 
on this list, I've gotten the opposite impression, and I am totally in favor of 
the Magen grade myself.  When and if there's a poll, we'll be able to get a 
clearer pictures, I think.
