(as we do not touch those of the opposite sex other than family members, even to shake hands,) and as a warm person I can not teach without respectful, acceptable warm contact! :) I DO agree that teachers must be very careful when teaching pupils of the opposite sex, for even well-intentioned "touches" could be misinterpreted or, G-d forbid, used to falsely accuse a teacher of misconduct in revenge.
