Subject: Activity for Shushan Purim - LEKET, Israel
On Monday, March 17, Shushan Purim, TEAM (Together English speakers
Achieve More) is
organizing an outdoor activity for families. In Rehovot (across the
road from the main gate of Kvutzat Shiller) there are
LEKET fields. We will be picking vegetables for Israel's largest food
bank from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00.
Bring your children and grandchildren. Children over the age of 6 are
welcome if accompanied by a parent/grandparent.
Hats, closed shoes, sun screen, water. and if you wish gloves are vital.
If you do not know where the LEKET fields are located, or if you need
a ride, we will be leaving the Swiss Havayot Community Center, 52
Rehov Sireni, Rehovot, at 9:30 and we will drive out (in private
cars) to the fields together. You must register in advance. You can
call me, Marlene at 054-2440426 or Ellen Lax, the coordinator, at
050-6874245 to register. Donation: NIS 20 per family.
