To: freida18@xxxxxxxxx as far as i know, the parent has a right for the kid to TRY the higher group. so they sign a paper that the kid can try for x months, and must get a grade of y (tests, homework etc.) to stay. i have had 1 case where the parents insisted that a kid stay in 5 pts instead of 4 pts - they met with the principal and signed that they were responsible if the kid would fail english and becAUSE OF THAT NOT HAVE A BAGRUT. this was in the 11th grade. in the end, at the beginning of the 12th grade, the kid just moved himself into the 4 pt group. good luck!
