Subject: Re: [etni] Fwd: Accomodations in testing for BA /Ma students
In most places (not all, he needs to check, each univ. or college has
a center for the disabilities) there must be a special academic
ivchoon, once he gets it approved, his hatamot are valid for the
entirety of his studies, be it 1 or 10 years... He can usually get
hakraa, extra time, and there are some additional special
accommodations for very specific needs (like a quiet room, a table,
and more)
First, tell him to call the dikanat at his institution and ask for
some initial info.

Social Work and plans to on for a masters. In high school. He received
hatamot of hakraa and ended up getting a 90 on a 4 point English
bagrut. He has very good verbal and listening skills but has
significant trouble with reading. I believe the ivchoon was done quite
a while ago (over 7 years ago)
How can he get hatamot for higher ed? What type of evaluation does he
need to get them? How long are ivchoonim valid
