Thank you for speaking up.
I especially agree with you following statement:
" I see teachers in High School struggling to cover all the myriad

material”, no time to pause and enjoy the literature, the teaching,

Something must change. We are not just being complainers or lazy, we
are human beings, and we speak on both ours and our students' behalf.
