I'll say this as a teacher coming over to Israel in the near future,
the misrad does not make it very attractive to continue my current
profession in Israel.

your pay slips. Just ask for a whopping increase in salary, and make
sure that a high level accountant oversees the negotiations, to ensure
that your net salary and benefits are really higher.
REMEMBER YOU ARE NEEDED! The Ministry is scraping the barrel to find
teachers, and if I were writing anonymously I could regale you all
with horror stories of what is taking place in classrooms in my area.
