Shalom All,
I took the Literature Hots course a year ago. Now I have just
completed reading all the updates and clarifications re the Literature
Program on the official inspectorate site.
Am I right in that?
The four pointers of next year's 10th grade won't be able to take D
and will have to do the Literature program. For this year's 10th
graders, Hots is not compulsory.
The five pointers who will be taking the exam are exempt (for the next
three years) from specifically teaching Hots. Moreover, they will have
a choice between the justification question and a general content
question on the external exam
The five pointers taking the exam should be taught according to the
key components of teaching literature, however, they do not need to
keep and save their work in a log.
There are only 6 compulsory Hots to be taught. (the teachers' choice
from the list)
