As an Irgun member, I am forced to work the long hours - or not get hired... The Irgun rep said that I don't have to work those hours and they'll back me up. But why would they hire me when they can get a scab to do the work. What about projects - also part of the sanctions - yes or no? Why aren't we refusing to teach overcrowded classes - even 42 in one class - when we were promised not more than 30? Also, the sanctions not to mark the meitzav internally... Looks like all these sanctions ain't working - when the Histadrut teachers keep agreeing to everything! We need to get the Histadrut teachers to jointly strike with us for all our grievances which have not been addressed. I heard there's a convention for Histadrut teachers in Eilat in October - anyone know anything about it?
